How to help your baby through teething

All babies go through it, and it can be really hard at the time to see your baby upset.

Generally, if your baby is going through teething then there will be a number of signs to look out for:

1. There may be a slight increase in temperature (but no fever)
2. A lot of drooling
3. Tender or sore gums
4. Chewing on various objects

However there are a few basic steps you can take to help your baby through teething.

1. A cold spoon or one of our natural teething toys will help. (do not try to coat or dip these in a sweet substance, ie sugar)
2. Even the pressure of gently rubbing the gums can help (ensure you have clean hands or a clean cloth)
3. I am not a big fan of teething necklace's or bracelets as they have too many small parts attached to them.
4. We have designed our teething toys to have no 'detachable parts' to ensure they are safe and can easily be machine washed on gentle cycle.
5. You could try an over the counter remedy or medication.
